For those of you that have been taking notice this past week or so, behold my Nu-Skylight - the olde one being ripp'd untimely from the roof (see below).
Of course, I'll be needing some further cosmetic work to be done on the surrounding wall-area, but at least I'm watertight now. This is a major plus-point, because typical of July in Cruel Britannia, the rain is currently hammering down.
The only real casualty was my now ex-computer keyboard, which sadly died a water-related death, but was replaced earlier today at a cost of £6.99 from PC World. It all serves as a reminder, to myself at least, of the awe-inspiring power of Mother Nature, when she so chooses to vent...it. Be very afraid.
